You can take a day trip to Crotone to see its 15th century castle. But, the main attractions in Isola di Capo di Rizzuto are the resorts and beaches. Relax, get a tan and savour local specialities like spaghetti con la neonata, spaghetti with fish sauce. Also, stop at the marine reserve to check out the ecology of the area.
