All of Spain’s regions saw increased property sales in November 2016
Spain’s National Institute of Statistics (INE) has released figures on the Spanish Property market in its latest data release.
The key points of the research are here
• All of Spain’s autonomous regions saw growth in property sale in November 2016 when compared to the same period in 2015
• The total properties sold in November 2016 was over 17% higher than November 2015,
• Total sales equated to 33,806 transactions.
• Property sales in the Balearic Islands rose by 32.8% in period measured
• Property sales in the Canary Islands saw a 26.3% increase
• Less well known areas such as Aragon and Asturias saw property transaction rise by 25%
• Spanish property sales up to November 2016 increase by 14.16%
• 372,000 Spanish properties were sold in this period
We have seen evidence of this general improvement in property demand in our markets in the Costa Blanca. We have seen very encouraging demand from purchasers in the UK and Northern Europe for our properties for sale in Villamartin and Cabo Roig in the South and Javea and Moraira in Costa Blanca North.
