Spanish Property Price Growth Continues
Latest Tinsa figures reflect the continuing recovery of the Spanish Property market. Tinsa is a leading multinational property valuation and consultancy company.
The published results are interesting to anyone involved in the Costa Blanca Property market. This includes Costa Blanca property agents, property owners and British clients considering purchasing a property on the Costa Blanca.
Some of the main findings of Tina’s survey are
- The parts of Spain with the most noticeable property growth are the Costas and major Spanish Cities. No surprise there!
- On average property prices on the Mediterranean costs including Costa Blanca rose 4.7 %
- Property prices in the major cities rose 6.1% on average
- Property prices on the Balearics and Canaries 2.9 %
The Tinsa IMIE General and Large Markets index takes into account a range relevant real estate and economic indicators to analyse the evolution and prospects of the residential sector. Also of interest according to the report is the fact that property prices remain 39.2 per cent below their previous market peak – though this varies between regions.
We feel this indicates that it is a good time to buy in Spain. Property prices on the Costa Blanca are rising but still below their peaks that prevailed before the credit crunch.
